Part 3 of the epic story "Babel." A pact between the gods to summon Astarte's mighty consort Marduk backfires, as the long-banished behemoth's powers prove too great to be controlled. The story may be saved, but salvation may come at the expense of everyone in the story — especially Astarte, who may have another surprise growing inside her.
